RideDesk vs Limo Anywhere

Limo Anywhere is one of the longest-running systems in the chauffeur trade and has the reservation depth to show for it. This page is not an argument that it is a bad product. It is an argument about shape: what the two systems charge for, what they assume about your market, and which of those assumptions match a European transfer desk.

Every Limo Anywhere figure below is their published list price, read from their own pricing page and dated on this page. Where they are the better choice, this page says so.

The two pricing shapes, plainly

Limo Anywhere charges a monthly base plus a fee on every trip, plus a one-time fee to get started. Their Core plan is 99 dollars a month, 25 cents a trip and 299 dollars upfront; Plus and Black raise the base and lower the trip fee. The trip fee is the part worth understanding before comparing headline numbers, because it moves with your success — a desk running three hundred jobs a month pays it three hundred times.

RideDesk charges a flat monthly price and nothing per booking. There is no onboarding fee, no per-vehicle line and no percentage of the fare on any plan, including the free one. Run ten transfers or ten thousand and the subscription is the same number; what changes is which plan you need, and that ladder is printed on the pricing page rather than quoted on a call.

Neither shape is automatically better. Per-trip pricing is genuinely kinder to a seasonal operator whose winter is quiet, because the bill shrinks with the work. Flat pricing is kinder to anyone growing, because the software stops being a variable cost the moment volume climbs. The calculator below exists so you can find out which one you are rather than take our word for it.

Where Limo Anywhere is the better choice

If you operate in the United States, they fit the market you are actually in. Affiliate networks, farming work in and out between operators, the shuttle and roadshow side, the reservation conventions American corporate clients expect — that ecosystem is theirs, and a European product does not acquire it by claiming to.

If your drivers and passengers expect native mobile apps, they sell both. RideDesk gives drivers a passwordless link that opens their jobs on any phone and installs to the home screen, which suits subcontractors who will never install your software — but it is not an App Store listing, and if that is what your clients ask for, you should know it now rather than after migrating.

If live GPS tracking is how you run the day, that is theirs and not ours. RideDesk does not do driver tracking at all. On a pre-booked transfer desk the flight number matters more than the moving dot, which is why it has not been built — but if you dispatch reactively to a fleet in motion, this is a real gap rather than a philosophical difference.

Who should actually switch

Moving a live booking desk is disruptive. It should be worth it before you start.

  • You are in Europe and fighting the invoicing

Consecutive numbering, VAT wording, SEPA and bank transfer as first-class payment methods, a German-language panel for your staff. If you currently export to a spreadsheet to produce invoices your accountant accepts, that is the switch paying for itself.

  • Your volume is growing and the trip fee is compounding

Put your real numbers into the calculator. If the per-trip line is already a meaningful share of the bill, it will be a larger share next year — that is simply what a variable fee does.

  • You want to evaluate properly rather than in a fortnight

The free plan takes real bookings, issues real invoices and does not expire. Run live jobs through it alongside what you use today, for as many months as the decision actually needs.

  • You are paying for a business you do not run

Shuttle modules, lead-quote closing, affiliate networks. If your operation is airport runs and corporate accounts, and your plan is sized for a different trade, fit matters more than price.

How a booking moves

Arrive, get priced, get a driver, get confirmed, get paid — the same path whichever channel it came from.

01Sign up & make it yours

Create your organization, set your rate card, connect your domain and drop in your logo and colour.

02Take bookings everywhere

Point your website at RideDesk, plug in the API, forward marketplace jobs, or add them by hand.

03Dispatch & get paid

Approve, assign a driver or partner, send the pay link, and let the automations handle the rest.

What comes with it

The capabilities that turn a booking list into a business you can run from one screen.

Built-in CRM

Every booker becomes a customer record — history, documents, billing details, lifetime value.

Two-way inbox & WhatsApp

Reply to customers by email or WhatsApp from inside each booking. No separate app.

Live flight status

Airport pickups track the flight automatically — delays surface before the driver leaves.

Bookable by AI agents

A per-tenant MCP endpoint lets AI assistants get a quote and book — priced by your rules, never theirs.

Quote-to-booking analytics

See what visitors entered, which class they picked, and where they dropped off the funnel.

Automations & reminders

Confirmations, driver reminders, payment chasers and a morning digest — on autopilot.

Test it against your own numbers, not ours

The free plan exists precisely so that a comparison page does not have to be believed. Set up your rate card, put the widget on your site, and run real bookings through both systems in parallel. If the trip fee turns out not to matter at your volume, that is a useful thing to have learned for nothing — and you can stay where you are with better information than you had.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Limo Anywhere cost?

Their published list price, read on 28 August 2026, starts at 99 dollars a month for Core plus 25 cents per trip and a one-time 299-dollar upfront fee. Plus is 249 a month plus 20 cents a trip with a 599 upfront fee, and Black is 549 a month plus 20 cents a trip with an 899 upfront fee. Add-ons such as the passenger app are priced separately on the lower plans. Confirm current pricing with them directly before deciding.

Is RideDesk cheaper than Limo Anywhere?

On published list prices, yes at every volume — but check it with your own numbers rather than taking ours. Pro is a flat 99 dollars a month with no per-trip fee, no onboarding fee and no cap on transfers or staff accounts, so the bill is the same figure whether you run thirty jobs a month or three thousand. Limo Anywhere starts at 99 a month plus 25 cents a trip plus 299 upfront, so it begins higher and climbs with your volume. Two honest caveats: this is software cost only, and list prices are not the only prices — vendors discount, so ask them for a written quote at your fleet size before you decide.

Can I move my existing bookings across?

Future bookings, customers, companies and your rate card, yes — and the rate card is the part that takes real time, because it prices everything afterwards. Historic completed jobs are usually better exported for your records and left where they are. Nobody should migrate ten years of finished trips into a new system in order to look at them twice a year.

What does RideDesk not do that Limo Anywhere does?

Live driver GPS tracking, native passenger and driver apps in the app stores, and the US affiliate and shuttle ecosystem. Those are real absences rather than roadmap items being described coyly. RideDesk is built for pre-booked transfer, chauffeur and rental work in Europe, and the feature set follows from that.

Is there a setup or onboarding fee to move to RideDesk?

No. There is no onboarding fee, no migration fee and no minimum term on any plan. You can start on the free plan without a card at all, and the paid plans are month to month.
