Is the free plan actually usable, or just a teaser?
It runs a real operation: ten transfers a month, your own mailbox, invoicing, the vehicle registry and the website widgets. No card at sign-up and no expiry date — an owner-driver who never crosses ten rides a month never pays us anything.
Do you take a cut of my fares?
Never. Customers pay into your own Stripe, PayPal or SumUp account, at your own negotiated rates. RideDesk charges a flat monthly plan and every price is published on the pricing page.
Can I keep the website I already have?
Yes — that is the intended setup. One snippet embeds a live-priced booking form into any site; WordPress gets a plugin with a shortcode. If your site is custom-built, the same booking API is documented for your developer.
Who answers a WhatsApp booking at 2am?
The guided chat bot, if you switch it on. It quotes from your own rate card, books end to end, and hands anything unusual to your team with the whole conversation attached. It cannot invent a price — quotes only ever come from your pricing engine.
What happens to my data if I leave?
